Jellyfish for lunch!

Yes, that’s true.  Butttt before we get to lunch, let’s rewind to dessert last night.  A tasty naner (100)  – this one said “Yum, Yum, Potasi-yum!” – LOVE these banana stickers.  And a few squares of Milka milk chocolate with toffee pieces (133).  I have yet to find a piece of Belgian chocolate that does not hit the spot. SO GOOD!



Woke up a little late this morning and wasn’t signed in for work on time : O  oops!  I was only a few minutes late, though!  Whilst working I enjoyed a lovely bowl of AB&B oats! (That’s Almond Butter & berries…)


Sooooooooooooo gooey good!

-1/4 c. Irish Oats (75)
-cup Trader Joe’s Frozen Berry Medley (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries) heated up with the oats in the microwave (80)
-Tbsp coconut (35)
-Tbsp TJ’s AB (95)

I absolutely love using frozen berries in my oatmeal.  All the juices come out when you defrost em and it flavors the whole bowl with berry goodness. Mm mmm.

Lunch was some delicious sushi from the grocery store!  I love when the sushi guy is there so you can have him make it fresh — but he cut these pieces a little HUGE for my liking..



With 1/2 a cup of seaweed salad on the side.  This is where the JELLYFISH came in.  I eat this stuff all the time, and I’ve never really looked at the ingredients, but today I did..after the obvious ones (seaweed, soy sauce, sesame oil, peanut oil, rice vinegar, sesame seeds) I came across the last ingredient: Jelly fish.  It just said it.  Just like that.  EWW. 

OH well, of course I ate it anyway, it tastes so darn good!  There was some leftovers in the container so I’ll be certainly having some more jellyfish in the next 24 hours 🙂

Here is my estimated calories for lunch…

1/2 c. seaweed salad (70) — I’m not sure about this one.  I’m suspect. Anyone know?
~.5 c. brown rice (108)
~6 oz tuna (240)
~1/4 avocado (65)
pickled ginger (10)

Figuring out calorie counts is tough when you don’t prepare foods yourself!  I would never ever let that stop me from enjoying a meal though.  I have layers of priorities in my life — being healthy is definitely near the top.  ENJOYING LIFE is definitely higher on that list.  🙂
