A very normal and boring Monday today. Set my alarm to get up and run, but AGAIN I couldnt’ drag myself from the bedsheets. I need to snap out of this sleeping in rut!
Breakfast today was the usual, but this time with TJ’s natural organic PB instead of AB. I really mixed it up. Tomorrow I might even choose a different fruit!
Lunch was a salad with romaine, spinach, tomato, cukes, a banana pepper, 2 Tbsp hummus, 2 oz roast chicken breast, drizzle EVOO & RMV, and a slice of Health Nut bread (that I clearly started nibbling before I snapped this one..)
For lunch dessert I had 1/4 of this DELICIOUS brownie I got from work:
All good stuff in there!
It’s the same brownie that goes into Ben & Jerry’s ice cream as brownie bites, and all proceeds of the sale of Do Goodie brownies goes to charity! Can’t say no to that.
Dinner was 4 turkey meatballs, smothered in pasta sauce and parm! 1/2 an acorn squash, and one dolmadakia. These are rice stuffed grape leaves, and I can never get enough! I stuck to just one this time
Also on the side was a little salad with kidney beans, chickpeas, and some avacado, along with lots of veggies. Someone else dressed this salad with a little more EVOO than my liking, but it was really good..had another little serving about a 1/3 the size of this one too.
No working out for me today! Aside from the mile I walked each way to and from the train to work today, I’ve taken it easy. I’m toying with the idea of some walking lunges and pushups while watching TV with my sister…but I might just make dessert and sit on the couch! We shall see..
